First of all this cable is a very high quality and very affordable cable. HDMI to USB C is one of those cables that I don't need as often as others, but when I do it's important and I need a solid connection. This cable fully meets all requirements. What I like: Quality connectors with very good rubber protection on the ends of the cable to prevent excessive bending. The braided insulation is of good quality and also looks very nice - much better than traditional "black rubber" cables when looks are important. What could be better: As some have noted, this cable can get a little warm, or maybe more of a more expensive cable. However, I haven't had any crashes or major problems as a result - it tends to heat up and just stays at that temperature. But that can be a problem for some. Overall, I think the four stars are justified, because this is a very good cable for the price. I stated in the review title that I think it's best for casual use, mainly due to the potential heat and unknown effects some users may experience. So I don't recommend this as a permanent connection between a computer and a peripheral, but it's great for "plug and transfer" or "connect my devices" like cameras and the like when the connection is in use and then disconnected. . If you don't have to constantly switch from HDMI to USB-C and want to save on hardware, this is great.
