I just bought these speakers for my porch. It's very hard to find floorstanding speakers that mount to the ceiling. So I bought them based on some positive feedback about the sound. After I installed them, the sound became normal at minimum volume. But when I started slowly increasing the volume (1 or 2 notches) both speakers sounded distorted and made crackling noises. These speakers are terrible! Is there a company that makes really good "outdoor ceiling speakers"? Update: I hired a company to review Pyle speakers. They said they were blown up and probably were when they were sent. I asked them to install 2 outdoor speakers from another company of much better quality. I will never buy this company again.
