So three stars because now that I've assembled it it actually works pretty well for what I wanted it for (under the desk). It's a bit thin but I guess that's to be expected for the price. What you need to know is that I cut my finger VERY badly on one of the metal parts while assembling this thing. You wouldn't realize how sharp it is because the edges of the metal pieces curve inward and look "round," but the inside edges are actually SUPER sharp. I'm really thankful they're so sharp because they're *so* sharp that the really deep cut he made on my finger was a clean cut that I was able to heal at home, even though I was really worried . I had to go to the hospital for a bit. (Weird, I have some pretty serious wound care left over from my dog who injured himself last summer, so at night I walked around with a dog bandage on my arm until I could get some human-shaped bandages the next day. Hands. Day) . I'm not saying not to buy it, just be aware of what you're getting into and be careful not to touch or put pressure on the ends of the silver metal rods (although assembling this thing mostly just involves stuffing included in the plastic) .
