Bought because the original WiFi cable broke when replacing the iPad 2 glass screen. Apparently this is quite common since Apple glued the WiFi chip to the glass. If you start lifting the bottom right corner, the glass can pull on the Wi-Fi chip and the antenna can come off fairly easily. thanks apple Anyway, it worked great as a replacement. Good Wi-Fi signal, no problem connecting to 2.4GHz and 5GHz hotspots. At least I know I won't be totally screwed if that happens again.
