This was recommended by my son's therapist to help in class for his ADHD. He has a milder form and this was recommended to help him focus on completing his work in class and keep him from getting up from his seat so much. It HAS helped and overall I'm pleased.It's well built and durable. The features keep him occupied and he enjoys pushing the switches and sliding the dials.Two issues: It's VERY big and too large to fit easily in a small child's hand. More for an adult hand though I myself find it borderline too big.It's not completely silent. It's quiet if you are VERY gentle with it but it does make small clicking sounds which could bother some.
