Above all, this is a nice little non-intimidating package. for someone like me who is new to cold brewing. Some of the other reviews say they don't understand why a scoop is included, but I actually found it useful to know how many scoops of beans I prefer to make for my desired drink (I cook 8 scoops of whole beans with 1 1/2 cups of cold water as the main recipe, although adding spices and alternative milk is fun!) and I know the spoon is only used for beans because the slot stays in my bean bag. It's not very trendy, and yes you can just take a muslin bag somewhere and use a screw top jar, but I like the organic product, like the rubber band that keeps the bag sealed in the jar and general package.
