This little piece of shiny metal saved me HOURS of work! Although initially it took a few hours of playing with tension, stitch length and speed to get this foot working properly. There are tutorials on YouTube, and each offers a different combination of the above settings, so I recommend just experimenting for yourself. Learning is worth it! A process that took 2 hours manually now takes less than 15 minutes.
- The Gathering Foot can be used to gather a layer of fabric, or to gather a layer of fabric by attaching it to a non-gathered layer. You can collect silk ribbons or strips of light fabric. to create a whole new look!
