A bit expensive but very nice. The base is a 3-inch egg crate, the inside is non-slip fabric (impregnated with rubber dots), the fabric is micro suede, and the center panel (seat) is a short faux fur cover. Two flashes. on the back, one for removing the foam from the bottom of the egg crate and the other for removing the flexible pillow for the neck roll. This model is similar to the "K&H Ortho Bolster Sleeper Pet Bed" in brown or gray, but has a few more uses: fabric The cushion is decorated with a paw print, has piping around the edges for a more finished look, and the center panel (seat ) is double layered and has diagonal stitching at the top to look like pillows. I have to love my pet like my child to convince me to spend that kind of money on a pet bed. I hope it lasts long. I considered making it from scratch myself, but quickly realized that I didn't have the money for materials and time to sew everything together. the washing up. Also, I love instant gratification and I knew if I ordered it now my dog could sleep on it now instead of a few weeks later when I get a round fee :o) In my opinion this bed is very good; It is a well planned design and well executed. It arrived in a large box direct from K&H within 2 days of ordering. I ordered a medium for my terrier and it was the right size - about 30" x 24" overall. The color is almost identical to how it appears online, maybe a little darker. All stitching looks good and I think that looks good. Body is made in China, foam is made in USA, filled and assembled in Colorado, USA. There is nothing you can do except throw pillows and tassels to make this bed prettier. I really like the 3/4 roll oval design, it gives the perfect contour for my dog's back to curl up in. I love that you can zip out the foam so you can easily clean the cloth sleeve later, but the zips are generic only, not YKK. I like the idea that the eggcrate is more unitary than a polyfill pillow, more orthopedic than a solid sheet of foam, and a decent 3 inches thick. I like that the bottom is non-slip. fabric, and the pillow is densely filled with polyethylene (in its own removable pillow) to support the full weight of my dog's head. I like that the fabric cover feels good, although maybe a little flimsy, but at least breathes well. like cute touches like piping and diagonal stitching and a paw print pattern and I'm sure I appreciate them more than my dog. Only gripe, if you can call it that, is that sometimes my dog likes to hide treats in bed for later, and unfortunately there aren't many folds (good or bad) to hide anything. You can also take care that this keeps it cleaner.
