I bought this monitor for my son as a graduation present. The first thing we noticed when we turned on the monitor was that everything looked washed out. The monitor was set to the recommended resolution (2560 x 1440) and no adjustments in the OSD menu or Windows display settings resolved this issue. The display port failed after about a month of use. I verified if the port failed by testing it with a different cable and plugging it into a different computer. Now he needs to use a monitor with an HDMI port. We're not sure how long this will take. Also, the cable connectors are very narrow and very difficult to plug and unplug. I should have paid more for a better monitor from another company.
