Update: These monitors have been working great for 2 years now and have never had a problem. I bought a pair of these to replace my 50" TV and have not been disappointed in the slightest. They're curved, meaning you get a narrower viewing angle before colors are washed out, but glare is greatly reduced. It saved me from the daily strain on my eyes. I use them for games. fits almost any monitor mount and requires no special mount.

Incredible value! Yes, if you are REALLY hardcore then 4ms response time is not going to help you. As a result you have some halos. I personally don't notice it. Blacks are really great, colors are nice and saturated (although obviously not quite IPS) and not a single dead pixel. I'm very happy with this great old monitor. The screen size takes some getting used to at first. That's a lot of screen. It's also quite painful for my WFH setup. Lots of space for split screen.

Contrary to the reviews I've seen, this monitor has no dead pixels. I had to look at the manual to see that the hat button on the back is an on/off switch and is also a way to access the menus. A 5 second press will either turn the power off or on depending on the state before the press. I DO NOT use the stand, it's on the triple monitor mount so the stand is in the box. The colors are bright. It appears to be an ACER monitor.

I can't tell you enough, I've had a lot of monitors in my time. This one might be the best. Colors look great, 165hz mode works great and is perfect for my needs. If you have trouble changing the frequency, check your cable, your cable may not support it. Monitor 100% goes to 165 Hertz. A dead pixel that is not noticeable at all. Got this for competitive gaming on Xbox One. You can definitely feel the 60Hz response time in games like Rainbow 6 Siege. I also use it as my everyday work monitor to extend my laptop's screen, for which it works great. Menu control via the joystick on the back of the monitor works well. Not perfect compared to a controller, but a joystick works much better than most menu buttons on monitors. All in all I would recommend this monitor to anyone looking for a quality gaming monitor.
