I bought this screen a month ago for $179.99 (it ended up costing around $195 with taxes etc). So far, this product has fully proven itself. No dead pixels, nothing crazy - everything works! Unfortunately I hooked it up to a laptop that isn't powerful enough to test the claimed 165Hz, but I can confirm that 100+ Hz works fine. The stand is of very good quality, the only thing that's not so smooth when you want to tilt the view of the screen itself up or down (so don't fiddle with the height, just the angle of the screen). If the monitor gives me problems in the future I will definitely update this review. I'm currently building a PC, so when I'm done building I'll bump the screen frequency up to 165Hz (I'll try to remember to update this when that happens). Verdict: Well worth it when it's on sale (I'm not sure I should pay $300). Again, I haven't analyzed the screen in detail when it comes to ghosting/tearing/etc. (who knows if it can be very good or disappointing in these aspects), but for the average person it is very satisfactory.
