Make sure you buy an extended warranty

If you're only buying one monitor, ignore this post. I bought 1 monitor (first) and was pretty happy with it. A week later I bought a second monitor. and that's when I started noticing the problem. I synced the color settings (all) for both monitors. But the color on the second monitor I received did not match the color on the first monitor even though all the settings were in sync. So I returned the second monitor and got a replacement. I synced the settings and this time the colors matched. Then about two weeks after I got the first monitor it started drawing pink vertical lines on the screen and the only way to reset it is to turn off the computer, unplug the monitor, plug the monitor back in and start the computer. Thought it might be the graphics card, I swapped the monitor connectors, but the problem persisted on monitor 1 (the first one I ordered). So - now I've ordered a replacement for Monitor 1. Received it the next day and after syncing the color settings - the new one matched the other monitor. It's been a few weeks and I have no problems as Revain's return policy is so good. But I would also recommend that you also take out a 3 year replacement insurance policy when purchasing this monitor. Otherwise these are great monitors and I would recommend them. but I'm marking them because one monitor needs to be replaced, the color settings don't match the other monitor, and one monitor is pretty broken due to the solid pink line. Now that they match and there are no more pink lines - they are awesome! I just wish I didn't have to pass the test by sending them back multiple times to get a perfect match (yet).
