I bought two of these monitors for my home office. Both have failed over the years. The display ports no longer work. You can still use them on HDMI, but you won't get high refresh rates at full resolution, and modern high-end graphics cards only have 1 HDMI for some reason. 1 could be a lucky break and an indicator of poor quality, but both fail due to the same thing. Of course, if they do any long-term tests, the answer is no. I think these discounted Acer monitors are just a way to get rid of a bad product that they hope won't harm their parent brand, but I can see what they are doing.
