These brushes are great for applying gel and gel as said but terrible for acrylic. Acrylic constantly gets stuck in it and hardens, spoiling the brush. If you're looking for an acrylic brush, it's worth spending a little more money for a quality brush. I used to use them because they were cheap, but when I invested in a better brush that was only $12, my acrylic application improved greatly, as did the life of the brush. So definitely recommend them for gel only and invest in a better brush for acrylic.
