First time - works like a charm! I read ALL the instructions first before using them and wish I had learned how to make this for myself years ago! I only wanted to do the upper lip so I cut the strips first and before I started I opened the oil bottle. I then heated the wax in the jar to the consistency of honey for 53 seconds in my 1200 watt microwave. I waxed one side in the direction of hair growth, attached the strip of fabric I cut out and very quickly pulled in the opposite direction of hair growth, then did the same on the other side. He pulled out a hair I didn't even know existed! I would post a photo of the strips used but it could be TMI. I've learned various ways to save money since the barber and nail salons in my state closed. I would suggest getting an electric wax warmer if you plan on epilating your legs, arms, etc. at the same time. However, this is not necessary for epilation of the upper lip, chin and eyes. I had a good experience. Hope you do too!
