I wanted a night light to replace the one I've had for ages that recently broke. I like to use these bulbs in two places in my house and I love when they have an on/off switch. I thought it was a coincidence but couldn't read the details. Although it looks like my old school night light and has an on/off switch, it does NOT have a spare bulb. I would never have bought this if I'd been careful. I don't see the point of buying a useless light after a steady LED has burned out. I don't understand what's behind such lights - once the LED goes out, the device goes to landfill. Upgrading the ones I've used will be rechargeable if the LED burns out - either automatic solar charging (like an old alarm clock I wish I'd never given away) or some other way of charging. The lightbulb I replaced is over 25 years old and while it needed a new 4 watt bulb maybe once a year or so, at least the lightbulb itself lasted for decades (the other lightbulb I have is over 20 years old and still working). strong). Also, I prefer softer light and haven't found a suitable LED lamp for a night light. This was no exception - I didn't like the way the light bounced off the wall instead of being diffused and didn't care about the tint. I think I've found what I need to replace my old night light (GLOBE ELECTRIC 7W Soft White Night Light) so I'm crossing my fingers and ordering some of these. I think I'll keep them as a backup but won't reorder.
