Good thing it comes with 3 as I needed all 3 to install. The surface is definitely matte and has texture. Writing still feels responsive and I can make different strokes with different pressures like before. It also appears to reduce glare from direct light and sunlight. All in all I think I would buy again. Installation: I would suggest starting in a steam room so there are no stray dust particles. Then clean as usual. Use tape to remove dust and hair particles that won't move. Apply a small amount of electronic screen cleaner to the surface. Attach the mesh and squeeze out the air/cleaner. Next comes the tricky part. The top film is very sticky so you must be careful when removing it from the screen or you will remove the entire screen protector. After removing the top film, you need to remove the air and detergent residues remaining on the surface again.
