Review on 💡 Durable and Stylish DOT Approved LED Headlights and Fog Lights for Jeep Wrangler 97-2017 JK TJ LJ by Dustin Ferguson

Great LED option for Jeep JK

I have had a 2007 Jeep Wrangler JK Unlimited since 2009. Since the stock headlights are so so-so, I bought the H4 bulb upgrade kit within a year of owning the car. The H4 bulbs only give slightly better light and I have to replace the bulbs every 9 months or so. Eventually I got frustrated with the constant replacement of expensive lightbulbs and started looking for an LED solution. I was about to purchase a headlight/fog light kit from a popular Jeep parts supplier and decided to give the Revain a try. I was hesitant to buy these replacement headlights from a seller I don't know but decided to pull the trigger because: - the price is significantly lower than competing products - the design is quite appealing with matching headlights and fog lights - an anti-flicker module is installed in the headlights - reviews were very positive - the company responded very quickly to problems with Revain - the headlights are DOT certified. I installed the headlights about 5 days ago. The lighting kit was packaged securely in a no-frills molded foam cushion with peel-off plastic protecting the lenses. The fog lights included an adapter harness with bare wires (I didn't need it) and the headlights came with two sets of adapters (which I didn't need either, having previously switched to an H4 bulb plug). I started by replacing the stock fog lights in the bumper. The new fog lights have the same mounting points as the factory lights and have the same outer diameter. They are thinner and the simple aim setting mechanism seemed more reliable than the stock ones. Installation went smoothly and the factory electrical connections fit securely. Then I installed the headlights. The new headlights feel solid with a powder-coated die-cast aluminum radiator at the rear. They use an H4 plug, so you may need one of the adapters that come with it. To install the headlights, you must first remove the Jeep grille. The four torx screws from each headlight must then be removed to allow the assembly to be removed. There is a ring mount around the headlight that secures it to the car. This ring must be retained for the installation of new headlights. The bulbs on my standard headlights and brand retrofit headlights did not fit reliably; They relied on a bracket to press them in place. These LED headlights fit perfectly into the sockets and took less than 10 minutes to install and test. The light color is cool white but not blue; I would suggest a color temperature of 4500-5000K. They're only slightly colder than the Silverstar bulbs I've had before. The light is exceptionally intense and I haven't noticed any PWM flickering yet. Haven't had a chance to test them at night yet, but I think they'll be a lot better than my previous set. In a future update I will try to post information on their light pattern and how well they are holding up. Overall, the price, obvious build quality, company responsiveness, DOT certification, OEM-style installation, built-in flicker modules, good looks, and light intensity make it a great buy.
