Review on Pack of 5 Old Spice High Endurance Deodorant, Pure Sport by Steven Ripley

My husband only uses Old Spice and I have compared the price of this kit to our local stores. This set was a few bucks cheaper than buying them individually at our local stores, so I bought it for him. However, upon arrival and reason for his absence was the 5* rating because exp. there was no date. Not on the packaging, not on the body of the deodorant. I tested this on my diploma I received from Revain and it was stamped on the bottom of the round button. All the old spice jars were empty. I even checked for a copyright stamp on the packaging to see if it would give me an approximate time frame of when the product could have been made, but none of them did. I guess I could bother calling 1-800# and ask someone to help me figure it out, but last time I did it (durability product) but it took forever. I don't like ignorance. Some might say it's just deodorant and won't kill you if it's expired, but I have experience with expired deodorants. I bought 2 at the grocery store in town in front of my house. I was home from the doctor's office. It was my usual brand that I usually buy at Wal-Mart but didn't want to drive to the next town behind my house just for deodorant. I didn't think to check the date until it was too late. After applying I noticed that it didn't last 12 hours like it should, but only around 3-4 hours. Then, after about 2-3 days of use, my armpits started tingling, itching and burning. I went to check the ingredients when I saw a sticker that expired 2 years ago! I had to throw them away, get a prescription from the doctor and buy new deodorant. The whole ordeal was costly. As this is a set we were hoping it would last a few years but we're not sure if that will be the case as there is no expiration date. He has been using it every day and so far so good. I wanted to try it and noticed the smell was faint. I could smell his previous Old Spice as soon as I took the cap off, but I had to get this one closer to my nose to catch the scent. I don't smell my husband either. His previous Old Spice, he could sit on the other end of the couch and I could smell him from afar, but not this only when he was lying next to me. That tells me it's not new, but I don't think it's outdated either. I've tried it for a few days with no breakouts, so it should last through the end of the year, but it's doubtful it'll last into the next year.
