Have this for 1+ season There was enough bottle popping that I complained to Profile Design and they sent me a carbon cage which solved the problem. The cage also slides forward/backward depending on whether you take the bottle out or put it in. Bar tape, elbow pads or other items attached to the handlebars. Mine hit the top of my bike computer and made a dent in the plastic. Then, on my second ride of the season, the metal bar broke in half while going through some street chatter (nothing important). It turns out that given the weight of the water bottle, the mount is a weak point that wears out over time. Overall, there seem to be better systems out there that are more stable and don't have the durability issues that this one has. Get a system with a refillable bottle so you don't have to remove it.
