Works well with webcam with 40ft CAT6 cable.

I'm using this in our company conference room to connect a PC in a closet to a Logitech webcam sitting over a widescreen monitor with about 40 feet of CAT6 cable. It works very well so far. I recommend it. Setup is easy and requires no configuration: - Connect power to the "home" device (no power is required on the remote device). - Connect the USB cable from the "Home" unit to the PC. - Connect a CAT6 cable from the "Home" device to the "Remote" device. - Connect any USB device "remotelyโ€. - The PC recognizes the USB device. The remote device has 2 USB ports, but I only use 1. So I don't know if using both ports makes a difference.

Pros
  • INCREASED PERFORMANCE: Place up to four USB devices in remote locations from the main computer system with this USB over LAN extender.
Cons
  • Doubtful
