I've been using Hiya Sharps since they came out. This is my backup emergency kit. the needle you make with this cord and the included tips. But other than that, it's good to have on hand.

Replacement Needles Love Hiya Hiya. I have purchased large and small spare sharp point stainless steel needles and use them on all my projects! When ordering, be sure to check the length of tip you need: 4" or 5", sharp or regular, stainless steel or bamboo.

I wasn't sure these needles would work as well as non-interchangeable needles as replacement needles often have broken hinges that catch on yarn or "unwrap" and disintegrate, resulting in suture loss and general distress. However, these needles do not fall apart and do not catch the yarn. I usually buy Signature needles, which are around $40 a set, but their new replacement needles have gotten too expensive. So I bought these hoping they might be a viable alternative to more expensive needles…

These are my favorite knitting needles. I bought a set of smaller sizes about a year ago and have been using them consistently ever since. I wanted to look for a size 10 compass. Needles when I realized that with another set I would have all the needles I need (except size 1 1/2 for socks) and when traveling I could take needles of the same size in two small packets. I've never had a broken connection, broken cable, or loosened needle tip. I always use the 2 tools provided to secure the tips so

I never felt like leaving a product review until I bought it. I bought a large and a small set, needles from 2 to 15. I bought these a few months ago and have used them in several projects and they are wonderful. The needles and cables connect well and are smooth without sticking. The needles are smooth so the yarn slides smoothly. I especially like the sharp ends, it's easier to pick up thin yarn. I love that I have cables from 16" to 42" ready for any project, all safely stored in nice cases.

This set is amazing. They are so light that knitting has never been easier. I've had very few problems unscrewing the lugs, problems with other brands from what I've read. I've bought "sharp" points that work well when using multiple skeins of yarn or fine lace pattern, but if you're pressing the points with your index finger to move the stitches up the needle, I'd recommend getting one take a blunt tip.
