Much thicker than any other "medium duty " stabilizer
This one tears TOO easily due to its thickness; it looks like handmade construction/cardboard paper and it keeps tearing when I clamp it. While this would be ideal for very thick fabrics like terrycloth or denim, any material that needs to be pulled over the outside edge of the hoop can tear. The price is right, but I had to throw away more than half. Spray adhesive works well with this, but I had a small issue with the stabilizer fibers coming loose and snapping. (Maybe I just got two bad batches? I ordered both at the same time.)
