I love this stabilizer. I read some of the reviews that were negative and I had no problems with them at all. I've worked on a number of different Christmas projects and where a medium tear is appropriate they have worked really well. I bought the same brand a few years ago when I had a Brother 270D for a 4x4 frame and never had a problem with it either. I have some tires for my SE1800 and love this car very much. This one tears TOO easily due to its thickness; it looks like handmade construction/cardboard paper and it keeps tearing when I clamp it. While this would be ideal for very thick fabrics like terrycloth or denim, any material that needs to be pulled over the outside edge of the hoop can tear. I have been buying fleece rolls for many years. I thought about converting to leaves but really wanted them to fit my 5x7 tires easily. They meet all requirements. The average weight, which is perfect for me for most of my projects, is a bit thicker than I'm used to.
