Review on 🌧️ Rain-X 5079278-1 Latitude Wiper Blade - 21 inch (Single Pack) by Kyle Cross

I bought several of these and several spare parts. They work great until they stop. The rubber blade itself appears to be in two parts, with a rubber band connected to a larger band. On every single one I've had on my Jeep, if you turn on the wipers at high speed during a rainstorm, the small strip of rubber that contacts the windshield slips out under the centrifugal force of the wipers, rendering the wipers unusable. and you have to turn them off to avoid scratching the glass. The only solution if you catch it when it's just a dangling streak of gum is to go out in the rain and put it back in. Bad design. I've switched to a more expensive Bosch and haven't had such a problem so far.
