Review on Enhance Your Business Communications with Microsoft LifeChat LX-6000: Clear Stereo Sound, Plug and Play, Noise-Cancelling Microphone for Laptop/PC by Brittany Smith

The product was great although it worked. I bought them on March 30th 2016, used them at work and on 04/06/16 they were no longer recognized by the operating system as a livechat headset and instead perceived as normal USB audio. This also stops sound being routed through the headset, although the microphone is still picking up sound. Studied it online and found many others with the same problem. Tried all the "fixes" in the posts but couldn't get them to work. I tried calling Microsoft to see if they had a fix for this but they gave me some sort of apology and when I was finally routed to the correct department there was a problem with their phone lines and I became obsessed. From what I've been able to read and piece together, the headset has a hardware issue and there's no fix for it. There is also no downloadable driver from Microsoft for this product. I used Windows 10 64 bit on Lenovo L440. Solution attempted: Reinstall all audio and USB drivers.
