Easy to assemble. I couldn't find any instructions so I emailed the company at noon. When I got home at 4am, they sent me a manual in PDF format. (The instructions were there when I opened the seat package, so check before you panic.) The chair was very easy to assemble; The only tool you need is the Allen key that comes with it. The chair has a large, very comfortable seat. I thought I would have trouble aligning the back of the chair with the armrests, but the pieces snapped together very easily and the screws lined up perfectly. It's a well-designed product, at least in terms of finish. So far very satisfied with quality and ergonomics. The gas spring works well; only time can tell. I plan to edit this review later if I run into any issues, but this was a great purchase. Great chair at a very good price.
