Everything went perfectly. I recommend watching YouTube videos during installation. We did it and it just got a lot easier. The mechanic offered us $150 to diagnose the problem and $100 for an hour afterwards. It might take an hour at best. Okay, that's $250. Not bad BUT more realistic given the disassembly required (DO NOT worry, keep reading; it's NOT difficult, just be patient). Heck, that's a new dryer, maybe ditch it and buy a new one, huh? NO NO NO! Be patient, BUY this kit for $39.89, an hour of your time, maybe a little more, with a year of lint and dust cleaning while you're there, and voilà, you did it. You are an adult homeowner and dryer repair assistant. Great product, now the dryer REALLY REALLY dries. giggle
