My Samsung dryer stopped heating so after some research I figured it was either the heating element or the thermostat. I was looking for the parts I needed and found this kit. At first I thought that for this price it was just one heating element, but then I realized that this is a whole set of parts. Bought, installed, works perfectly.

YouTube video to replace this item. Although the video appears in the listing, it is not detailed. Just look up the model number and then add a replacement heating element. It took less than an hour. The pain in the back is you have to remove the drum which is very big. The belt also needs to be removed, but putting it back on is problematic. Otherwise it's not that bad. Found this kit while looking for a replacement heating element. This 3rd party component kit is cheaper than OEM heater. It was only discontinued one day, so I don't have long-term results. Everything went perfectly. I recommend watching YouTube videos during installation. We did it and it just got a lot easier. We ordered this about 2 weeks ago. Installation wasn't terrible, although my dryer had screws in some awkward places for the seat rails to use. Unfortunately, the supplied KSD301T failed after only 2 weeks and remained in a permanent off/open state. This apparently caused the dryer not to heat up. Follow up after 6 months: Still working perfectly. Be sure to remove any extra lint that you can remove during installation. Easy to install even for a beginner if you are careful.
