Problems with rubber seals

I've been using them fairly regularly for a month. Common use is for storing leftovers in the fridge and reheating. The rubber seals that should (I assume) stay on the lids almost always stick to glass jars. Usually that's not a problem, I would just take it off and put it back in the lid. I always remove the rubber gasket before putting it in the dishwasher or microwave. This morning the rubber seal broke into several pieces when trying to remove it from the glass jar. Super screwed up. I have other integers - HOPE it was a coincidence but I have a feeling they won't be far behind. Without a rubber part, the lid does not close tightly. This wasn't due to mishandling - I'll still use glassware well - but I wish it held up better overall. . If you are looking for glassware with resealable lids I would look elsewhere.
