Review on Sony MiniDV Digital Handycam Camcorder DCRHC65 with 10x Optical Zoom (Discontinued by Manufacturer) by Chris Quinto

I bought the DCRHC65 after trying the DCRHC30 and thinking a larger CCD would make a difference in low light conditions. But I couldn't tell any difference. The design of this camera is sux. Input/Output cable connectors are located in hard-to-reach places. The attached lens cap is ridiculous. Too heavy. Consumes battery power too quickly. If you're considering this camera, compare it to the DCRHC30. The only big difference is the pixel memory and the size of the CCD. Both perform an analog-to-digital transition. But the DCR-HC30 is hundreds less.
