I read with my Kindle Voyage at night, but I still find my eyes straining at the stark contrast between the pitch-black surroundings and the pre-lit screen. So I wanted a dim light to soften the contrast and a remote control so I didn't have to get up to turn it on and off. It meets almost all requirements. Pros: Easy remote working as promised (so far). Remote control is very convenient. The remote control has timer functions which are great. It also serves as a reminder of how long I've been reading. Comes in a pack of 2 and I already know where to put the second one. between 10% and 100% is noticeable but not very pronounced. The light always starts at 100% and I have to set it to 10%. I ordered the warm light version but it's still pretty white. Don't be fooled by the cons, they are minor considering the price of the product and the competition.
