Besides from being cumbersome and pricey, the mouse also has glaring flaws. Strongly discourage any consideration of purchase. On the other hand, if it were error-free, I would most certainly put it to good use. Second, the software makes it a breeze to complete common office tasks; nevertheless, the excitement only lasts for the first ten minutes following software installation, at which point problems begin to crop up. The wheel was my favorite part. No delays can be detected. A high degree of ease and comfort. But, it does have certain drawbacks. The fact that the mouse only lasted 10 minutes when I tried to use the custom buttons in Logitech Options with the Microsoft Excel program for which I had originally purchased it was the biggest letdown. It was as if everything had been reset, and now nothing was operational. Or, more accurately, there were a couple of occasions where, after excruciatingly removing and reinstalling software, USB receivers, etc., I was able to get the buttons to work again. In reality, though, the joy lasted no longer than ten minutes. When the computer switches between programs, or after around 10 minutes, nothing seems to work. There was no improvement, and the helpers didn't even try. There's only one correct response: we're in charge of nothing. By the way, the OS is Win 10 and the software is Office 16. My biggest gripe is that I adored this mouse within the first ten minutes of using it, but the rest of the time has been spent in aggravation and the pursuit of workarounds. Also, the pace at which the cursor moves is reset, and it won't be re-established until the Logitech Options program is opened again. Also, my PC is brand spanking new and totally error- and virus-free. That's why it's best if I don't even consider him.
