If you've ever changed the oil filter on your hemi ram, you know it's dirty work. I used a gallon-sized freezer bag on the filter. So far it's better than that oily udder. I bought it hoping it would meet its needs. I checked the size with the new filter and it was accurate. The day I go to change the oil I'm ready to try it, I put everything in, loosen the oil filter, adjust the udder and start loosening the filter some more. Once the oil drains, the udder immediately slips off, so you must always keep it in place. When I loosen the filter further, the drain screw opens after about 2 turns and all the oil from the udder flows towards me. This kit will only work under near-ideal conditions, meaning the filter is outdoors, with no obstructions or filters that are difficult to access. In my opinion the purpose of such a kit defeats the purpose, shouldn't it do the hard dirty work instead of the hard dirty work? This kit is not for you if you have RAM 5.7 hemi.
