I use this tablet holder to read the Kindle. I really like the accessible split pocket because it fits the Kindle and charger nicely. The Lap PRO is adequately padded and wide enough to fit in my lap. But I've found that when I try to put the Kindle in a more upright position, it wobbles forward and ejects my Kindle. I think with a big tablet it would be even worse. Personally, I solved the problem by adding an extra pound of weight to the bottom of one of the pockets. I can't comment on the durability of the fabric as I've only been using it for a few days. The microfiber is nice and soft, but looks like it could easily snag.
