so will they replace the wire nuts? rehearsal No, but they are easier to use if you are the right size. A simple premise, pix takes it for granted. Wires plugged in, snapped in place. You get the added benefit of the clamp pinching the wire. mine didn't break with reasonable force. The only downside I see is that you need quite a wide range as there are 2 wires and 3 wires then all different gauges. whereas with wire nuts you can use many thin wires in a larger nut etc. Therefore, wire nuts are more versatile. But if I had all these sizes I would use them. Might try something else now that I've tried them.
