Best suggestion to start your spice repertoire or a great gift

I've been looking for good spice jars for a while. It seemed that to get a decent quality set you have to settle for very high prices. Some kits were cheap, but they were made out of cheap plastic painted to look like metal, others had very, very small shaker heads. After reading the description here it seemed great but there were no reviews. I decided to take a chance. I am very happy. Let's look at some pros and cons: Pros: - Solid jar - Stainless steel lids - Very nice - The funnel fits perfectly on the inside rim of the jars so it doesn't wobble - The chalk pen works better than I expected - The stickers stick really well - The stickers appear perfect when placed on the sheet of a glass jar (see photo) - Very affordable - Fast shipping - Excellent customer care and communication - The packaging is very pretty too, they would make a great housewarming gift or so chef. Cons: - The lids could use a gasket to make them fit tighter and feel nice. If you overtighten them, they will come loose from the threads. It's not the deciding factor, but it's literally the only area that could use improvement. On the other hand, pay attention to the funnel, which is best used for filling, as it needs to be cleaned and dried between uses, as almost all spices will stick to silicone. Since I bought 2 sets I used the funnel several times but then just used paper and bags. Not as easy, but less cleaning required. When the spices run out one by one, the funnel is much more convenient. Overall I would say this is a great product and I will most likely be buying a third set as I still don't have enough for all my herbs, spices and spices.
