Soldering for over 30 years. why did i wait so long to get this? The flex arms adjust well and stay in place even after a slight overshoot. The alligator clips are a little flimsy and the heat shrink tubing wears out over time, but it's very easy to replace the clips with stronger ones and place the silicone tips on your teeth for a better grip on the wire. The shaft clamps also tend to come loose, I tightened them up nicely with pliers and now they hold tight. The base is nice, heavy and with the rubber feet it stays in place. Circuit board holders are more useful than I thought. I use them often now. The soldering iron holder part was not used. There are similar devices that cost more, I don't see what could be better. Highly recommended.
