Only use liquids that rinse off easily

Wide neck is convenient for spill-free filling, but the lid doesn't push out, just screw on. . It is a very durable plastic and comes in multiple colors and sizes. This particular one (36 ounces) is oversized for a standard bike bottle cage but great for hiking or camping. It also has a volume mark on one side so you can see how much is in it or how much you've drunk. The wide opening is NOT wide enough to fit an entire hand in and the bottle is too deep to reach the neck. the underside with your fingers so cleaning can be a challenge. Use a bottle brush! Just use regular dish soap and warm water, stronger chemicals will eat away at the plastic. If you don't use soap and a bottle brush, algae and bacteria will grow in the bottom corners of the bottle, making you sick if you keep drinking from the bottle. So keep it clean, wash it at least once every few days! Also, try not to fill it with sticky liquids that leave stubborn residue, like milk or cola. You can mix in some Koolaid, Propel Fitness Water or something similar. Conclusion: A sturdy plastic bottle with a simple screw cap, volume markings on one side and a wide neck that allows the bottle to be used. brush for cleaning. A good choice for hiking but may need a very wide bottle cage to place on the bike. I like it.
