If you prefer a lightweight, minimalist case to protect the back and edges of your iPad, this is a great choice. Perfect fit for the new 2021 iPad Pro 12.9 inch model. The button pads work well, not stiff like some of the other cases I've used. I bought it because it has a pen holder on the side which is perfect for holding a pen. Tell me I'm not used to this pen holder sticking out when holding my iPad in portrait mode. It's not uncomfortable, I'm just not used to it, and it's not a solid feeling. The side of the iPad flexes a bit, which seems a bit odd, especially when you're playing games made in portrait mode (I don't know many of them). My recent case for my 2018 iPad Pro was similar, but I didn't have a "pencil cup," so I had to do a little surgery on the case to reveal the iPad's charging edge so I could place the pencil on the iPad could without removing the lid. It worked, but being on the case wasn't ideal.
