First I gave rave reviews about this product, if it works they are amazing. but now I've had TWO in the last few months and BOTH are broken in essentially the same way. My first pair broke after a few months and I figured it was my fault. The thin straw-like rubber tube that wraps around your head from ear to ear is bent, and the inner stronger plastic tube under the rubber band appears to have tears that seem to let water through. Once they are dry, charge them up and put them back on your head. in the pool they work 3, 5, maybe 15 minutes before the water there gets into the electronics and the device dies. I have already bought a pair for my best friend (I was so blown away by these amazing swimming headphones I told everyone I could about them) instead of giving the second one to my friend I kept them to myself and swore VERY VERY take care of them well and carefully. Oh, by the way, I tried duct tape on my first pair and it didn't work. And then last week. I don't know how and when it happened, the 2nd pair bent the same way (maybe it's because the water here is very warm 82-86 degrees!?!?). Should I buy a third pair? If the manufacturer takes these reviews into account. Maybe this is a warranty issue!?!? Then there is the strangest life-limiting problem. A $1 earbud of all things that costs $12 every time you lose either one of those two and they REALLY come off relatively easily (tighten the towel the wrong way up to 7 times a week and after about a month they lose of elasticity and you need a new pair of the 5 pairs of ear tips that come with the kit only one pair is designed for use in the water! and only one pair of these and the original 5 are suitable for use in the pool.But here is a kick in &% #!If you buy a spare pair, you get the same set of 5 pairs, only one you can use, and it's $12 HOPE SOMEONE LISTENS TO BEST!
