Review on Rogue One: Star Wars Black Edition by Michael Kosack

Revainrating 2 out of 5

I expected more from the masks

I have a Vader Black Series helmet and it's in a different league. The battery compartment of a soldier's helmet is bulky and an eyesore from behind. Also, mine doesn't close all the way, but you can snap back with a flick of the wrist. The parts that make up the helmet are chunky and don't fit together well. There are gaps between the pieces. The internal fit is tighter than Vader's helmet and doesn't seem to fit as well. It is MUCH harder to see through this mask. The voice changer is a joke, but it makes a neat click of communication. It doesn't even come close to meeting the 501 specs and definitely can't be scaled to them. The coolest thing about this helmet is how it looks on the shelf next to my Vader helmet. 2 stars for looks, 3 stars for price/quality/functionality.

Pros
  • Imagine playing the role of a Star Wars Stormtrooper wearing an Electronic Imperial Stormtrooper Helmet with voice switching inspired by the Star Wars movies.
Cons
  • You could have chosen a newer model
