These lights are very easy to install! They are thin and snap right into the hole you cut for them. They work well on a dimmer and are quite bright. You can't replace the 'bulbs' in them and they should last around 10 years. depending on how many you have. I placed 4 of these in a faux beam I installed on the ceiling and connected them together.
