Review on πŸ‘„ Wet n Wild Megalast Liquid Catsuit Lipstick Review: Give Me Mocha Shade Tested and Reviewed! by Erin Sacchetti

Terrible applicator, no proof of transmission.

I fell for the hype surrounding the Liquid Catsuit (color: Missy and Fierce) but in the end I think it's just regular liquid lipstick and I doubt I'll buy any other colors. Here's why: 1.) The applicator is terrible. It's a fluffy doe, but with a little scoop, and I had a hard time getting a clear line, unlike other modern liquid lips that use diamond-shaped applicators, like Maybelline's Matte Ink (which I prefer). I can get better results with a lip brush, but I resent the idea of using a separate tool every day. special cases? Of course. Daily? To hell with all that. 2.) The formula admittedly feels nice as it's fairly light and doesn't leave a sticky finish after drying. Even though you look good from afar, up close, or in the mirror, I felt like my lips looked wrinkled and dry. In contrast, Maybelline's matte ink makes your lips look huge and plush, albeit with a slightly sticky finish. However, I found the Liquid Catsuit to be less dry than the Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid, which for me is the driest of them all. 3.) Despite the dry appearance, I was surprised to find that the color transferred to everything to some degree: the cup, the spoons, my hand. Again, the lip color *looks* dry and fully set, but every time it comes into contact with something else, it surprises you, especially on silverware. In the photos you can see the deep wrinkles that have formed on the lips, as well as a very inaccurate and shaky lip line. (Apologies for the lack of makeup β€” but I'm a normal person sitting in my pajamas on a Sunday morning, not a professional beauty blogger, and it was more important to me to snap a photo for posterity.) I'd rather my $5 bet on something that transfers smaller and has a better applicator, but that's just me. I really think the comfort factor will appeal to anyone who hated the drier types of liquid lipsticks like Kat Von D.
