product arrived on time and as described (new). I haven't spent much time with the camera yet, although I've tried features like a projector and optical image stabilization. I personally liked the projector feature, although the detail isn't quite as good as when connected to a TV with the included HDMI cable. Then the quality of the picture shows itself in all its glory. The built-in backlight is also a very useful feature. Not good enough to be used as the sole light source in a dimly lit room - if you're trying to achieve some sort of film quality - then additional lighting is required. The microphone pickup is good but I haven't tried it yet to say if it can really be used in a cinema environment. Didn't use Night Shot either. Just another gadget on this camera that costs extra money. Also included is a remote control that I will be using. The optical blur is great. This will make anyone using handheld video look like a pro using some sort of camera. Again, I haven't made many videos yet but will actually be using it for some tutorial videos as well as some short films. I think it will succeed and I'm very glad I bought this camera - it's worth the money. Sony doesn't and won't do this again from a camera for professional users. Take this one if you can. Newer models just don't have all of these features. I could wait to get a 4k camera but I still don't think any of them will have all the benefits. I will update this review once I actually use this camera.
