These are awesome for your garage!
I installed 9 of these in my garage and they work wonderfully. Pay attention to the type of dimmer switch you get, because only certain ones will work with these lights. There is a list on the PDF that's on Revains product description. But so far they are beautiful, are relatively easy to install, and offer many options for the type of lighting you want. I think I'll be putting up more of these in my house now that I can see how bright and awesome they are. I DIY these and I am not a pro by any means.
