These lights are very thin, easy to install and look pretty nice. I just installed these and cannot yet say much about durability and overall quality. One design flaw is the cord on the junction box is right in front of the mounting hole. You need to be very careful when you put in the screw to prevent damaging the cord. According to the description these lights are supposed to be 1050lm but I find this hard to believe unless they measured it right in front of the light. I have other classic 1000lm LED lights in another room with 4 lights being a lot brighter than 12 of these flat LED lights. If you want your room very bright and lit up you may want to consider different type of lights. I haven't drilled to holes yet so I'm still on the fence whether I want to keep these are send them back and install standard recessed lights.Update: I ordered another case to add more lights because the rooms were too dark. The new lights were the same as the first so I have to assume the brightness is what it is. Maybe it works better for higher ceilings but by adding a few more lights the rooms are bright enough now. Customer service reached out as they wanted to make sure it wasn’t a quality issue and offered to replace the lights which I declined. It the 3rd case there were 3 defective lights. Customer service was extremely helpful and send me replacements within a few days. Sure there was an issue with a few defective units but the fact that their customer service is so responsive and very keen to resolve their issues makes it all good to me. So far this was the best customer service experience I ever encountered. They stand behind their product and told me in case of any issues to contact them immediately as they offer 5 years warranty on their product. I decided to increase the rating to 4 stars based on the experience so far.As a test I kept the lights on for extended times of ore than 10 hours and none of the lights got hot. They only got warm to the touch but nothing excessive.So far I’m pretty happy with the purchase.
