Works well especially for the price and works with Blue Snowball

. I haven't had it in so long and will update this review if anything changes in the future. But so far I am very impressed with this item. He does what he says, albeit with a little more play than I expected. However, the mic doesn't seem to move when I stand it up. The hand also keeps the mic up and out of the way when not in use, preventing it from slowly falling down. The clamp is solid for now and appears to be fairly stable. My desk is thicker - one of those metal desks with a thick wooden top - so I was worried the clamp might not fit. I still have plenty of room, I don't even have to unscrew the clip completely to attach it at the top. A note on the microphone. I am using Blue Snowball and plan to update it soon. However, I wasn't sure about Snowball. However, a video on Youtube told me a secret: use a clip designed for a microphone. Inside the handle is a plastic insert that attaches to the threaded mount on the boom. Unscrew this insert from the clip and screw it onto the arm mount. The snowball screws very well onto this plastic part. So far I am completely satisfied with this product. It was $13 and works better than I expected given the price. Even if it only lasts a year, the price is reasonable. Again, I'll update if anything happens.

Pros
  • . Sturdy build
Cons
  • . I vaguely remember
