This is a much smaller vertical mouse, more portable. It worked fine at first, but the more I used it, the more I had problems grabbing items on the screen, the copy and paste function was disabled, or I had to double-click multiple times to grab items. Being a new computer I thought it was a machine but have since tried the new mouse with no problems. This is fine for basic scrolling/browsing, but not for spreadsheet use or a lot of copy and paste. I have replaced it with another model but will continue to use it to see if the charge was the problem. For the price I figured it wouldn't hurt to try
