Review on Enhanced Performance H13 9008 Headlight SEALIGHT Upgraded: Unleash Powerful Illumination by John Ghattamaraju

Used in 2012 Nissan Sentra. Installation was very easy and there were no problems. LED is a big improvement over 9 year old halogen. The light is bright white with no yellow cast. I just installed the product and did a short overnight trip so can't comment on reliability etc. I said the packaging was great for two things. First of all, it is recommended to wear gloves when installing to avoid getting finger oil, etc. on the lamp. Well, a pair of gloves was included in the box! Second, I believe the transition from halogen to LED requires a decoder between the bulb and socket. The kit includes lots of wires on both sides of the decoder, making installation easier, but then you're left with about a foot or so of a freely rotating decoder plus connecting wire. The kit includes 4 cable ties and two double-sided patches to solve this problem. (The problem and reason for including these bits is not mentioned in the instructions.) I chose this article for a number of reasons. First, it uses a heatsink instead of a potentially noisy fan. Second, it had a high rating from users and from Fakespot. Third, it had a very low percentage of 1 and 2 star ratings.
